Margarita Pita Pizza
Here's a quick and delicious recipe for pizza. These pizzas are fun to make and hassle free.
1 large 12 inch pita
1 cup of crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
5 basil leaves, finely chopped
Preheat your oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit. On a large baking sheet, place the pita onto it. Evenly coat the pita with the crushed tomatoes, leaving 1/2 inch border around your pita. Evenly sprinkle the mozzarella and the Parmesan cheese on the pita. Add the basil onto the top of the cheese.
Place the baking sheet into the oven for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted. Take the baking sheet out of the oven and allow the pizza to cool for one or two minutes before you cut it and eat it. Serve and enjoy!
