Marinated Asian Ribeye

Marinated Asian Ribeye



When I have a craving for Korean barbeque,  I make this recipe.  The thinly sliced ribeye, when marinated, packs a lot of flavor!


Ingredients:

1 lb of thinly sliced ribeye steak
1 1/2 cups of Asian Marinade


Instructions

Lay out the ribeye slices evenly in a medium size bowl.  Pour in the marinade on top of the ribeye.  Marinade the ribeye for an hour.  Cook the ribeye on a hot, cast iron or nonstick grill for 3-5 minutes.  Serve with steamed white rice and grilled vegetables for a well rounded, healthy meal.

Asian Marinade


This flavorful Asian marinade is great for beef, pork and fish.  Marinade your meat in it for 1 hour then cook it.  


Ingredients:

1/3 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger
2 cloves of freshly grated garlic
1/4 teaspoon of sesame seed oil
1/2 cup of soy sauce
1/2 cup of water
10 basil leaves, finely chopped
1/4 tsp of chinese 5 spices
Freshly grated pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients together and and mix well.
