Fried Chicken Breast Slices

Fried Chicken Breast Slices


-2 large chicken breasts, cut into thin slices with a thickness of about 1/2 inch
-2 cups of flour
-1/3 cup of chili powder
-1 tablespoon of garlic powder.
-3 cups of vegetable or grapeseed oil


1.  In a large flat bowl, add the flour the chili powder, and garlic powder. Mix well. 

2.  Add the slices of chicken into the flour one at a time.  Coat well with the flour.  Place the chicken onto a plate.

3.  In a large pan, add the oil.  Heat the oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  Add 4 - 5 chicken slices into the oil and cook for 7-8 minutes.  Turn the chicken over once, about half way through its cooking time. 

4.  Place cooked chicken onto a flat plate with two napkins on top it for about 30 seconds to one minute..  The oil from the chicken will drain onto the napkin.  Place chicken into a serving dish when it has finished draining.
