Ginger, Garlic and Lemongrass Poached Tilapia

Ginger, Lime Garlic and Lemongrass Poached Tilapia


This style of Tilapia is amazing in tacos with veggies and salsa.  It is juicy, flavorful, and will send your taste buds on a ride!


Ingredients:

6 Tilapia fillets
1/2 tsp of freshly grated ginger
1 clove of garlic, grated
1 Tbsp. of lemongrass
1 lime, cut into wedges


Instructions:

1.  In a large frying pan, add 1/2 quart of water.  
2.  Add the grated ginger,  the garlic, and the the lemongrass.
3.  Squeeze the lime wedges in the pan and add the lime rinds into 
     the water.
4.  Poach the Tilapia over medium heat for 10 - 12 minutes.
