Pan-Fried Cajun White Fish

Pan-Fried Cajun White Fish

1 lb of white fillets such as catfish, snapper, saw or tilapia
3 tbsp of flour
2 tbsp of chili powder
1/3 teaspoon of dried oregano
grape seed oil for frying

In a large bowl, add the flour, chili powder and oregano.  Mix well.

Add about 2 -3 cups of grape seed oil to a large fry pan and heat up the oil until it starts to bubble.

Dredge the fish fillets into the flour mixture.  Put them on a plate and transfer them into the hot oil for frying.

Fry the fish fillets in the large fry pan for 8 - 10 minutes, flipping the fillet over once half way the frying process.

Serve the fish with lemon or lime wedges and enjoy!
